Vivienne Pinay was the stage name of Michael Donehoo,[1] a quondam drag performer from New York City, New York. Donehoo is best known for being a contestant on Season 5 of RuPaul'south Drag Race, and was the fourth contestant in series history to be of Filipino descent.

The term "Pinay" is from Tagalog (a Fillipino language) meaning "Daughter from / of the Philippines". Being of Filipino decent, Donehoo decided to use this term in his stage name to pay tribute to his heritage. [ commendation needed ]

During the show, Vivienne became 1 of just seven contestants in series history to exist accused of "resting on pretty" (The other 6 existence Mariah and Carmen Carrera of Season 3, Courtney Act of Flavour vi, Miss Fame of Season 7, Derrick Barry of Flavour 8, and Farrah Moan of Flavor 9).
